The Man Inside is the second film from Director Karim Goury, where he continues on a personal journey to uncover more about his estranged father. This documentary sees the director taking up residence in a hotel in Kuwait, where his father lived and worked, armed with nothing but his father’s personal possessions: a few letters, photos and a tape recording, which were given to him by his newly discovered Egyptian family. This very intimate portrait is painted without malice or bitterness, and leaves the audience to draw its own conclusions.
