Sonja Rakić, Ana Renovica - So, Where the Hell is My Prince Charming? #23rdSFF fredfilmradio
PODCAST | Flavia Dima interviews director Sonja Rakić and producer Ana Renovica on their Pack & Pitch project from the 11th Talents Sarajevo.
So, Where the Hell is My Prince Charming? is a Serbian documentary-in-development which was presented at Sarajevo FF’s Pack and Pitch event, which included six regional projects competing for the chance to participate in next year’s Sarajevo CineLink production programme and 4000 euro worth of post-production sound services.
As they aim to finish shooting by 2019, young director Sonja Rakić and producer Ana Renovica discuss in the following interview about how they started working on the project, which tells the story of Danica Rusov, an elderly lady who is trying to overcome her past demons with the help of a psychotherapist. Sonja and Ana also give specific insights into the difference between producing a fiction feature and a documentary, budgeting, opinions about how people in the Balkan area relate to the notion of psychotherapy and why it is necessary, along with many other interesting details.
Interview by Flavia Dima, one of the members of Talents Press at the 11th Talents Sarajevo.
