Neanche il tempo di riascoltare le parole di Agostino Ferrente, in concorso allo ShorTS International Film Festival di Trieste con Selfie che il suo film ha vinto nella sezione Nuove Impronte. Non è solo il pubblico a sentirsi vicino al racconto in modalità specchio che ti guarda dentro, delle vite di Alessandro Antonelli e Pietro Orlando, gli amici fraterni protagonisti di Selfie ma anche la giuria composta da Alessio Cremonini, gli attori Sara Serraiocco, Elena Cucci e Vinicio Marchioni, e Gianluca Guzzo, AD e co-founder di MYmovies. Ferrente descrive il lavoro di un documentarista oggi tra doveri e diritti, il dover portar luce nella verità della vita delle persone in un modo che osi, stupisca ma sia funzionale alla storia che si vuole raccontare. Con Selfie, Ferrente rende i suoi protagonisti anche cameraman, li responsabilizza pur guidandoli con la sua presenza silente e il risultato è un film che a distanza di cinque mesi dalla partecipazione alla Berlinale, continua a colpire gli spettatori che sia ai grandi festival internazionali o nelle piccole e nascoste sale di città e periferie.

Selfie: Napoli, quartiere di Traiano. Alessandro e Pietro sono due adolescenti che si filmano con un iPhone per raccontare il loro difficile quartiere, la loro vita quotidiana, la tragedia di Davide, ucciso a 17 anni ad un posto di blocco.
