Gay, etero, trans, la vera domanda che la gente si dovrebbe porre nel guardare una coppia è: sono felici? Lo afferma Ferzan Ozpetek raccontando il suo tredicesimo film, La Dea Fortuna, parlando dell’importanza di avere un progetto in comune da condividere con il proprio compagno di vita. La Dea Fortuna nasce da uno spunto autobiografico e diventa spunto per il regista turco-italiano per tornare alle atmosfere familiari e intime di Le Fate Ignoranti e per analizzare la coppia, la sua evoluzione e poi trasformazione: dalla passione all’affetto dell’invecchiare insieme. La Dea Fortuna sarà al cinema dal 19 dicembre e promette di ricordarci che la vera fortuna nella vita è quella di incontrare le persone giuste a sconvolgerci il cammino.

La Dea Fortuna: Arturo (Stefano Accorsi) e Alessandro (Edoardo Leo) sono una coppia da più di quindici anni. Nonostante la passione e l’amore si siano trasformati in un affetto importante, la loro relazione è in crisi da tempo. L’improvviso arrivo nelle loro vite di due bambini lasciatigli in custodia per qualche giorno da Annamaria (Jasmine Trinca), la migliore amica di Alessandro, potrebbe però dare un’insperata svolta alla loro stanca routine. La soluzione sarà un gesto folle. Ma d’altronde l’amore è uno stato di piacevole follia.
