An interview with Haytham Chamass, Lebanese documentary filmmaker, human rights activist and founder of Art Factory 961. The interview was recorded at the 2020 One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival in Prague, Czech Republic, where he was part of the jury for the Czech Competition. On our chat, Chamass talks about the power of documentary and Art Factory 961 – a Beirut-based non-profit NGO, that focuses on advocating human rights by using arts – and its Karama Beirut Human Rights Film Festival, which takes place in July and regularly met with silent opposition from the Lebanese government.
