After the success of Logan, James Mangold is again portraying the struggles of human beings trying to find the balance between ambition and self-fulfillment and friendship, family. Inspired by the true events of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966 where the Ford company finally got to compete with the always winning Ferrari. Le Mans ’66 counts on two great actors: Christian Bale playing the British driver Ken Miles and Matt Damon in the role of American car designer Carroll Shelby.

Le Mans ’66: Academy Award-winners Matt Damon and Christian Bale star in Le Mans ’66, the remarkable true story of the visionary American car designer Carroll Shelby (Damon) and the fearless British driver Ken Miles (Bale), who together battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own personal demons to build a revolutionary race car for Ford Motor Company and take on the dominating race cars of Enzo Ferrari at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France in 1966.
