Fred meets Newton Ifeanyi Aduaka , director of OIL ON WATER which is one of the 27 projects selected by this year’s edition of New Cinema Networl – Rome International Co-production Market. Oil on Water tells the story of two journalists – keen, young Rufus and ageing, cynical and alcoholic Zaq – as they search for the kidnapped wife of a European oil executive in the badlands of the Niger delta.
The Film is based on a book of the same title by author Helon Habila and it will be produced by Valerie Ousouf for Granit Films.
