Tamara Kotevska glows when she talks about Hatizde, the lead character of her ( and Ljiubo Stefanov’s) film Honeyland. The premises of the film where different but when they met Hatzide and her mother they knew that a new film was coming . Tamara tells Angelo Acerbi, at the European Film awards in Berlin, all the difficulties and complexities both technical and physical to complete the shooting, and how Hatzide’s life is today.

Honeyland:  The last female bee-hunter in Europe must save the bees and return the natural balance in Honeyland, when a family of nomadic beekeepers invade her land and threaten her livelihood.
