Angelo Acerbi talks with Wieland Speck, the director and father of the Panorama section at the Berlinale. This year’s attention was focused on politics and its importance in the movies, in terms of treating central social issues and raising awareness in the audience. Such importance was well analyzed by Wieland, and consequently well represented by all the films selected in this year’s program.
