PODCAST | Angelo Acerbi interviews Douglas Seok and Kanitha Tith, director and actor of the film Turn left, turn right.

Douglas Seok uses the typical structure of a music album, dividing his film not in parts but in tracks, each one of a diferent length and tone, to tell us the story of the life of Kanitha, a youg girl in Phnom Penh. A visionary look on contemporary Cambodia, still balanced between modernism and rural traditions.

Turn left, turn right: After fifteen years of living together, Marie and Boris decide to get a divorce. Marie had bought the house in which they live with their two daughters, but it was Boris who had completely renovated it. Since he cannot afford to find another place to live, they must continue to share it. When all is said and done, neither of the two is willing to give up.
