Vardakis discusses his motivation behind documenting the birth of the first Greek LGBTQ+ movement in 1977, emphasizing the importance of preserving and sharing this pivotal moment in history. With a story never told, the documentary serves as a testament to the resilience and courage of those who fought for equality in the face of adversity.
The director reflects on the challenges of researching and capturing the history of a movement that existed in a time of limited documentation.
