FRED’s Matt Micucci interviews Beata Marciniak, Film Education specialist of the New Horizons Association, Polish partners of the 2015 EFA Young Audience Award.
Aside from talking about all the things that will be taking place during the 3rd of May, Young Audience Film Day, in which the young audience will attend the screenings of the three finalist films and pick out the winner of the award, we talk with Beata about the many other activities promoted by the New Horizons Association aimed at younger audience, including exciting initiatives to promote the making of Polish film productions more aimed at a younger audience.
EFA YOUNG AUDIENCE AWARD – In a truly European vote, 12-14-year-old audiences in Aalborg (Denmark), Amsterdam (Netherlands), Athens (Greece), Barcelona (Spain), Belgrade (Serbia), Bratislava (Slovakia), Budapest (Hungary), Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Erfurt (Germany), Istanbul (Turkey), Izola (Slovenia), Kiev (Ukraine), London (UK), Malmö (Sweden), Prizren (Kosovo), Riga (Latvia), Skopje (FYR Macedonia), Sofia (Bulgaria), Tallinn (Estonia), Tbilisi (Georgia), Tel Aviv (Israel), Turin (Italy), Valletta (Malta), Wroclaw (Poland) and Zagreb (Croatia) will elect the winner of the European Film Academy Young Audience Award 2015.
