In this first episode, Matt is joined by top FRED correspondents Angelo Acerbi and David Martos, and all three share their thoughts on the films they are looking forward to seeing the most at the lido. Films discussed also include two from the Giornate degli Autori: Mark Cousin’s March on Rome and Wissam Charaf’s Dirty Difficult Dangerous, as well as the festival’s special pre-opening event, a special screening of Henri King’s Stella Dallas from 1925 with live orchestral score curated in partnership with the MoMA.
