Jennifer Lertola, Noa Talaván – collaborators – ClipFlair

Dr Jennifer Lertola is an E-tutor at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Her main research interests include teaching Italian as a foreign language, second language acquisition, audiovisual translation and online education. She has been a member of EU-funded Clipfair project.

Dr Noa Talaván holds a senior lecturer position in the Foreign Languages Dept. of the Universidad Nacional de Education a Distancia (UNED), Spain. Her main fields of research are audiovisual translation, mobile learning and foreign language education. She is currently taking part in two different projects: the above mentioned Clipflair and “SO CALLED ME” on Mobile Learning Applications in Language Learning (as part of a group called ATLAS).

Dr Lertola and Talaván presented the results of their e-learning project through Clipflair, an online platform meant to enable foreign language learning through interactive revoicing and captioting of clips.
