PODCAST | Chiara Nicoletti interviews Erin Richards actress of the TV serie Gotham.

Erin Richards is one of the main guests of the 2nd edition of Filming Italy Sardegna Festival where she presents episode 7 of Gotham‘s Season 5. The actress who plays Barbara Kean in the TV series based on the DC comic books, has already directed some episodes of the series and is now embarking on a new project, her directorial debut on a film that takes inspiration from horror films such as The Babadook. Erin Richards explains her choice of debuting with a genre film as sometimes fantasy and genre are strong devices to talk about the present, even strongest than more “neo-realistic” films. As she started working in TV when Netflix, Amazon and other platforms were still not as huge as they are today, the actress and director comments on the positive and negative sides of the infinite possibilities that streaming and TV series can offer.
