Nell’intervista a Geum-Soon Kim, Geumseona Yoon attrici del film Jeong-sun nella sezione concorso progressive cinema del Rome Film fest abbiamo parlato delle difficoltà di raccontare la storia di un’operaia di mezz’età che, per cultura e inesperienza, si muove incerta nell’universo digitale, vittima silenziosa di soprusi e prevaricazioni all’interno della fabbrica in cui lavora.

Jeong-sun: Jeong-sun (Kim Kum-soon) è una donna di mezza età che lavora in una fabbrica. Attacca quando fuori è ancora buio, ad accompagnarla ogni giorno è la figlia (Yun Seon-a), prossima al matrimonio, perché lei non ha la patente. Di buon umore e umile estrazione, Jeong-sun finisce per instaurare una relazione con un nuovo collega, il coetaneo Yeong-su (Cho Hyeon-woo).
