Gli istinti più oscuri dentro ognuno di noi, e la rabbia primordiale di una società, in Piove, il nuovo film di Paolo Strippoli, che torna tra le braccia del cinema di genere, dopo il grande successo di A Classic Horror Story, diretto con Roberto De Feo. Abbiamo incontrato il regista e gli attori ad Alice nella Città, dove Piove è stato presentato in anteprima nella sezione Panorama Italia. Strippoli ci spiega perchè per lui è l’horror, lo strumento giusto per raccontare la società, e i suoi attori riflettono sulle peculiarità del set di film di genere. Piove è al cinema dal 10 novembre 2022, distribuito da Fandango.

Piove: Da qualche giorno Roma è teatro di un evento singolare: quando piove condotti e tombini tracimano con una melma grigiastra ed esalano un vapore denso di cui non si conosce l’origine. Nessuno può immaginare che chiunque respiri questo misterioso vapore dovrà farà i conti con ciò che reprime, i suoi istinti più oscuri, la sua rabbia. Neanche la famiglia Morel.
