A great honour for FRED Film Radio! In conversation with Hong Kong film icon Simon Yam, starring in Fruit Chan’s latest work “The Midnight After”. Mixing comedy, sci-fi, and horror elements, the film tells the story of 17 characters who find themselves alone in an empty city, compelled to face their fears, uncertainties, and moral values. By discussing his role in the film, Mr Yam also comments on pressing social and political issues actually affecting Hong Kong life.
