Filming Italy Sardegna Festival
PODCAST | Matteo Ghidoni interviews Claudia Gerini, actress and Filming Italy Ambassador.
“It’s important to support women in all fields, not just in cinema – says the actress born in Rome – We are struggling and we want to get better. If you think that 80 years ago women couldn’t even vote in our country. We are now emancipating, you can tell we did a long road to get here, but a lot is yet to do”.
“It’s also gratifying – continues the ambassador of the festival – to see that a lot of international productions are choosing our amazing country to shoot their movies. For example tom Cruise will shoot in Rome his next Mission Impossible. Speaking about me, I can tell you that Terry George just casted me for the movie, exile. We are going to shoot in Ireland and Italy. In general, we as Italians must keep on promoting our country and our skills internationally. I will also be in an independent psychological thriller in French”.
