Gion Linder and Robin Ribback are respectively Head of access service and Innovation Manager at Swiss Text and have been working in providing access services across Europe for many years. On FRED during ARSAD 2017, they talk about their experience in accessibility through the years and how things have been changing and improving so far. The aim of Arsad for Gion Linder is to improve their work by increasing quality and decreasing cost for access services. As for the status of accessibility, Robin Ribback answers that we will never be where we would like to be but there are always more technologic driven projects each time Arsad takes place. Conferences like Arsad are important to exchange and consolidate these ideas and new projects.
Since its beginning in 2007, the international seminar on audio description ARSAD has been a meeting point for all key agents interested in both research and practice in audio description.
