Helen Mirren is the protagonist along with Donald Sutherland of Paolo Virzì’s english language debut The Leisure Seeker, in competition at the 74th Venice International Film Festival. The Oscar winner talks about her role in the film, a woman who is bossy, charming, who loves life, loves to engage in life and a character Helen Mirren likes thinking to have things in common with. Helen Mirren defines The Leisure Seeker not only a love story but “a tale of seeking liberation”.
