Hylnur Palmason brings his third film to Cannes with much anticipation. A stunningly beautiful film, a demanding and complex tale of self-discovery. many themes are the base of the narrative, as he tells us: religion, inner demons, social difference and language barriers.

Godland: In the late 19th century, a Danish priest travels to a remote part of Iceland to build a church and photograph its people. But the further he delves into the landscape, the further he strays from his mission and morality.
