The Sarajevo Film Festival’s industry section is certainly one of the best in Europe. Its evolution has been ongoing and relentless and this year too offers an exciting program that especially tends to the future of the industry, and beyond – as the space assigned to the budding VR industry shows.

What better way to illustrate the admirable work that takes place in Sarajevo annually than by talking with the head of the industry himself, Jovan Marjanovic; an annual guest on FRED Film Radio. Jovan Marjanović takes some time to chat with FRED about this year’s program, despite his busy schedule.

Going over some of the events, panels and markets, we get a feeling of the atmosphere in Sarajevo, which as he points out, will welcome an estimated number of about 1000 film professionals.
