An interview with Santiago Zapata and Agustin Balbi, actors in The Hypocrites, directed by Santiago Sgarlatta and Carlos Ignacio Trioni Bellone, and presented at the 2019 Cairo International Film Festival in the International Panorama section. After a brief introduction to the characters they play in the movie, we get into a discussion about the link between acting and hypocrisy and the search for truth within performance. Another theme they introduce as central to the film is loneliness, which prompts a discussion about that, as well as more topics, including their experience in Cairo so far.
