At the 14th Rome film Fest Viola Davis receives her 88 award, the career award: a perfect occasion to comment the importance of prizes for her and the things she’s the most proud of. A career award forces an artist to look back at their filmography and artistic path so Viola Davis reflects on every choice she made till reaching this moment in her life.

Oscar, Emmy, and Tony-winning actress Viola Davis will be the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 14th Rome Film Fest (17-27 October 2019). The announcement was made by the Artistic Director Antonio Monda and Laura Delli Colli, President of Fondazione Cinema per Roma, in agreement with Francesca Via, General Manager.
