A conversation with Annick Barbezat-Perrin, head of communication of Chaplin’s World in Vevey, Switzerland. Chaplin’s World is a site celebrating the enduring legacy of one the greatest icons in film history and one of the greatest artists of the 20th century: Charlie Chaplin. In this podcast interview, Barbezat-Perrin tells us about what Chaplin’s World looks like and shares a bit of its history, as well as the significance of its location. She also talks about how the museum dealt with the pandemic and the processes involved in its reopening. In addition, she talks about its new temporary exhibition, The Sound of Charlie Chaplin, which offers an insightful look into Chaplin’s connection with music as well as the music that he composed for his films.
