Fest Anca’s artistic director Maros Brojo explained to FRED’s Gonzalo Suárez what the evolution of the festival has been over the past years, overviews its 2015 edition and shares his intentions for the following year.
FEST ANCA INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION FESTIVAL: Fest Anca is an animation festival held in Zilina, the third largest city in Slovakia. As usual, its 8th edition has had the traditional train station and the new synagogue as its two main venues.
Among many other initiatives, the festival includes an international and a national short film competition and this year has featured two masterclasses and retrospectives from famous animation film-makers Tomm Moore and Priit Parn.
