Girls Lost actress Tuva Jagell talks about her first acting experience and working with director Alexandra-Therese Keining. The film, produced in Sweden, is one of the 2016 finalist features for the European Film Academy’s Young Audience Award.

GIRLS LOST (Pojkarna): Three young girls who’s friendship is tested after they have planted a very special flower; the Nectar from the flower is changing their lives- and friendship – forever, as they get a taste of what it’s like growing up as a boy. It’s a story of how we’re creating gender, and how to know who you are when society is telling you who you should be, but also a story about young love and lust.

EFA YOUNG AUDIENCE AWARD: The European Film Academy’s Young Audience Award is an award presented in 2016 for the fifth time by the European Film Academy and voted for by young film lovers across Europe. In a truly European vote, 12-14-year-old audiences across Europe will elect the winner from the three finalist films on Young Audience Film Day, which will be taking place on the 8th of May 2016.
