Parliamo con lui della durezza ma anche del rigore estetico delle sue immagini e della scelta artistic di montaggio e regia, per una storia a volta insopportabile da vedere ma necessaria da conoscere.

Reflection: Il chirurgo ucraino Serhiy viene catturato dalle forze militari russe in una zona di guerra dell’Ucraina orientale e, mentre è prigioniero, assiste a spaventose scene di umiliazione, violenza e indifferenza verso la vita umana. Dopo il rilascio, torna al suo comodo appartamento piccolo borghese e tenta di trovare uno scopo nella sua vita dedicandosi a ricostruire la sua relazione con la figlia e l’ex moglie. Impara a ridiventare un essere umano, a essere un padre e ad aiutare sua figlia, che ha bisogno del suo amore e del suo sostegno.
