Gabriele Mainetti, emozionato ed ansioso per il fatto che il suo film sarebbe stato visto da Bong Joon-Ho, ci racconta il suo Freaks Out: dalla potenza produttiva e spettacolare, alle intenzioni di svuotamento della forza dell’immagine nazista alla idea di fondo che siamo tutti freaks.

Freaks Out : Roma, 1943: Matilde, Cencio, Fulvio e Mario vivono come fratelli nel circo di Israel. Quando questā€™ultimo scompare misteriosamente, forse in fuga o forse catturato dai nazisti, i quattro ā€œfenomeni da baracconeā€ restano soli nella cittĆ  occupata. Qualcuno perĆ² ha messo gli occhi su di loro, con un piano che potrebbe cambiare i loro destini… e il corso della Storia.
