Una giovane VJ e un anziano italiano emigrato in Lussemburgo, una strana storia di amicizia e scambio reciproco. L’emigrazione, tema centrale nella filmografia del regista che è anche produttore. Cosa significa produrre in un paese piccolo come il Lussemburgo: difficoltà e aiuti. Il futuro del cinema ha sempre più la propria chiave di riuscita nella coproduzione.

Io sto bene: Partito dalla Puglia negli anni ’60 in cerca di fortuna, Antonio vive in Lussemburgo da cinquant’anni. Nonostante la posizione conquistata nel tempo, alla morte della moglie Mady tutto ciò che gli resta è un passato fatto soprattutto di rimpianti e ricordi dolorosi, a cominciare dall’amicizia spezzata con Vito e Giuseppe. Quando nella sua vita irrompe Leo, una vj che – come lui mezzo secolo prima – ha lasciato l’Italia per cercare lavoro all’estero, quell’incontro diventa un gioco di specchi che innesca un viaggio nel tempo, offrendo a entrambi la possibilità di un futuro diverso.
