PODCAST | Chiara Nicoletti interviews Leonardo DiCaprio, actor of the film Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood.
Leonardo DiCaprio landed in Rome with his director Quentin Tarantino and co-star Margot Robbie to introduce the Italian release of Tarantino’s 10th film Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood to the Italian audience. The Oscar actor, a muse for many directors, first Martin Scorsese and now Quentin Tarantino, talks about the approach he decided to give to his character, TV actor Rick Dalton, and how he tried to show and capture the nature of this person as the story unfolds in a few days in 1969. Since he has always been chosen as a reference actor and always have shown to be capable of “leading” a film by cinema masters like Martin Scorsese or Alejandro González Iñárritu, he comments on the responsibility that comes along with such power and ability.
Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood: Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.
