Bianca Ferrari
Born in Bologna in 1996, she is currently based in Rome, where she works as a film critic, podcaster, and music promoter.
She graduated with honors in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Bologna, with a thesis on the gender gap in Italian cinema. During her studies, she began collaborating with Cineteca di Bologna as a teaching tutor and film critic, contributing to CinefiliaRitrovata.it. Since 2017, she has written for BadTaste.it as a critic and reporter at major film festivals such as Cannes and Venice, and she also created and hosted the podcasts A Cult Story, Road to Venezia, and Road to Cannes. She currently contributes to several Editoriale Domus publications.
Since 2023, she has authored over thirty entries for the first Encyclopedia of Contemporary Music by Istituto dell’Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani, created the music industry podcast Gavette Live Podcast, and works as a manager for emerging artists. Since 2025, she has been the music director of the venue Pierrot Le Fou in Rome.
