“Pendant Ce Temps Sur Terre“, deuxième film de Jérémy Clapin, au 74ème festival de Berlin, dans la séction Panorama, est un mélange fascinant de genres (science fiction, thriller, un petit peu de gore) que nous fais plonger dans une relation obsessive avec l’espace, où le frère astronaute de la protagoniste a évanoui et la vie sur al terre de cette soeur qui espère toujours de le revoir.
Le deuil inachevé
Il y a trois ans que l’astronaute a disparu mais le deuil continue, car l’absence du corps ne permet pas de le terminer. Ce fait force Elsa (Megan Northam) a accepter le défi des entités extraterrestres qui la contactent. L’incohérence de l’espoir rend tout acceptable et croyable. Et son monde se modifie.
Animation et prise de vue réelle: c’est toujours du cinema
Dans “Pendant Ce Temps Sur terre“, Jérémy Clapin garde una partie d’animation, la forme narrative de son premier film, mais la nécessité d’un réalisme majeur et d’une force visuelle plus frappante sur les personnages l’ont amené au live action, aussi. Les deux moyens expressifs sont complémentaires avec une fluidité très efficace.
