FRED Film Radio and Cinema & Video International have announced a new editorial partnership with the launch of The Market Insider, a podcast dedicated to the business and strategic dynamics of the international film and audiovisual sector.
Conceived as a space for in-depth industry conversations, the podcast will focus on the economic, institutional and operational aspects shaping today’s global market. Each episode will feature producers, distributors, sales agents, film commissioners, executives and industry experts, offering professional perspectives on current trends, market transformations and emerging opportunities.
Unlike traditional interview formats, The Market Insider aims to provide analytical discussions centred on decision-making processes, international collaborations, financing models and audience evolution within the audiovisual ecosystem.
The podcast will address topics related to innovation, market positioning, and the changing structures of film production and distribution, with particular attention to the industry’s international dimension.
By combining the editorial identity of FRED Film Radio with the long-standing industry perspective of Cinema & Video International, the collaboration seeks to create a platform that connects professionals, institutions, and audiences interested in the business side of cinema and media.
Designed for film professionals as well as listeners interested in the mechanics behind the screen industries, The Market Insider intends to offer practical knowledge and informed analysis through conversations grounded in real market experience.
The partnership marks a further expansion of FRED Film Radio’s editorial activities dedicated to the international festival and audiovisual landscape, reinforcing its focus on industry reporting and professional dialogue.
