After George Cukor and Frank Pierson, it is actor turned director Bradley Cooper’s turn to direct A Star is Born in a third remake starring famous singer Lady Gaga, here actress for the film. The film is presented out of competition at the 75th Venice Film Festival. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga describe how they met in a moment in their life where they both wanted to jump in a new adventure so they found and help each other become a director and an actress. Gaga confirms that there are many similarities between her personal life story and her character Ally’s one, if we consider the transition Lady Gaga did from being Stefani Germanotta to becoming a world famous singer and diva till finally finding the way to combine her two souls. What it means to be a Star? To Bradley Cooper and his first film the answer.

A Star is Born: In this new take on the iconic love story, Bradley Cooper makes his directorial debut and portrays seasoned musician Jackson Maine, who discovers and falls in love with struggling artist Ally, played by Lady Gaga. Ally has given up on her dream to become a successful singer until she meets Jack, who immediately sees her raw talent. This intimate story takes us on a journey through the beauty and challenges of a relationship struggling to survive.
