Tarik Saleh gives us another taste of Egypt with his new film Boy From Heaven. A thriller, a fight between religion and state power, where corruption is on both sides. He tells us why he made the film, and why he was the only one who could pull it through as an Egyptian/Swedish man, he tells us how much he hates directing and how much he loves writing instead.

Boy From Heaven: On the first day back after the summer holidays, the grand imam collapses and dies in front of his students in a prestigious university in Cairo. This marks the start of a ruthless battle for influence to take his place.
