Untitled Home Invasion Romance blends dark comedy, romance, and thriller elements. As he was literally born in comedy, Jason Biggs decided to not only direct a comedy but to add black comedy elements to sort of creating a distance from his work as an actor.

Plot

Kevin, a struggling actor, hatches a misguided plan to win back his estranged wife, Suzie, after a two-month “break.” He whisks her away to her family’s Adirondack lake house for what he promises will be a romantic second honeymoon — but secretly enlists his bumbling acting-class buddy Ernie to stage a fake break-in so he can swoop in as the hero. When the power fails and Ernie, masked and menacing, arrives at the wrong moment, the scheme unravels into something far more dangerous than Kevin bargained for.
