An introduction to Film Center Serbia, one of the key film institutions in Serbia, indeed, founded more than twenty years ago especially as an institute for film. We meet the general manager of the institution, Boban Jevtić, to talk about its many activities, at the Sarajevo Film Festival. He reveals to us that he hopes that Film Center Serbia will soon not only take care of the film sector but the audiovisual in general. We also focus on productions and co-productions, including selection criteria, its focus on co-productions with other countries from the Balkan regions, and selection criteria, as well as examples of recent notable co-productions. Other topics discussed in this interview include film education and Film Center Serbia’s activities at the Sarajevo Film Festival and CineLink.
