“Dogman” narrates the secluded and solitary life of an outsider dog lover who has to come to terms with the world, with its violence and its rules. With the fundamental help of Caleb Landry Jones, who chiseled the main character to an incredible perfection, Luc Besson comes back with a blast.

From a real story

Reading a piece of news about a kid kept locked in a cage, Luc Besson started to think about the consequences of that on the kid and the perpetrators as well. The dogs came later, as the creative process went by.

No film without Caleb

“Dogman” could have not been as it is without the presence of Caleb Landry Jones. It was clear to Luc Besson and it is clear to us as well. His many layers of emotions and depth, tenderness and strength make the film the gem that it is.

 

 


Plot

The incredible story of a child, bruised by life, who will find his salvation through the love of his dogs.
