Deidre Lyons and Stephen Butchko are the producers ( and performers) of Welcome to Respite, a VR film and adaptation of an immersive stage play experience, where the viewer is brought back to the feelings he had as a kid. We talked about this and a bout the state of the art of VR.

Welcome to Respite: Welcome to Respite is a VR adaptation of CoAct Productions’ award-winning immersive theatre show, The Severance Theory: Welcome to Respite. The original production, which took place in August 2019, was released as the first chapter of The Severance Theory series. Inspired by the true stories of people living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Welcome to Respite is a fully interactive experience that allows you to step into the shoes of Alex, the main character and host of the Personality System.
