Ilaria Gomarasca

Ilaria Gomarasca, former Pyramide International’s Festivals Manager, who handled the launch in the international festivals’ circuit of award-winning films such as EFA winner Patricio Guzman‘s trilogy (Nostalgia for the light, The Pearl Button, The cordillera of dreams), the Golden Globe winner Leviathan by Andrey Zvyagintsev and three Golden Camera winners (Party girl, Land and Shade and Our mothers), is an independent film professional with over 10 years of experience.

Since 2017 she is consultant for the Italian Ministry of Culture to shape the program and the strategies for the Italian film festival and professional meetings Rencontres du cinema Italian – De Rome à Paris (France).

She is also audience development advisor and Intl sales & festivals strategist to independent producers or during international workshops (Institut Français, EAVE, IFeature UK, First Cut Lab, EuroDoc, Cannes Court Métrage).

Ilaria has been Head of First Cut+ between 2020 and 2022, a program supported by Creative Europe’s MEDIA, created for boosting promotion & audience engagement strategies for films at the stage of postproduction, predominantly from European countries with a low production capacity.

In 2022 Ilaria joined the team of the Marrakech International Film Festival as Head of Films Department.

Ilaria is Reporter for FRED Film Radio since 2014, particularly for the French Channel.
