“Eddington”, interview with director Ari Aster
Presented at the 20th Rome Film Fest, “Eddington” is Ari Aster’s boldest experiment yet — a western for the digital age, where the showdown isn’t fought in the desert, but on the screen in our hands.

David Pinheiro Vicente - Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth) #FutureFrames fredfilmradio
PODCAST| Matt Micucci interviews David Pinheiro Vicente, director of the film Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth).
An interview with director David Pinheiro Vicente, from Portugal, who was selected to be part of Future Frames at the 53rd Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. European Film Promotion (EFP) presents ten outstanding young directors from Europe with their latest work at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival every year. David Pinheiro Vicente’s film is called Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth).
Where the Summer Goes (chapters on youth): One baking hot day a group of youngsters take off for the river. To pass the time they amuse themselves with the story of a man whose pet snake tried to swallow him whole; it seems that, in sharing this tale, they unwittingly set the tone of this lazy, carefree day. The stifling heat and the sensuality of the pervasive natural surroundings awaken feelings that would otherwise have remained well and truly hidden.
