Jacopo Chessa, direttore Veneto Film Commission. la presentazione del film di Francesco Sossai, Le Città di Pianura, è occasione per preesntare e comunicare l'attività della Veneto Film Commission

Abbiamo incontrato Jacopo Chessa, direttore della Veneto Film Commission, al padiglione italiano alla 78ª edizione del Festival di Cannes. La presenza della Film Commission è dovuta, oltre che alla classica funzione di collegamento con produttori e registi per attirare nuovi progetti sul territorio, alla presenza nel programma del festival di un film girato in Veneto che ha fruito quindi del sostegno della Film Commission, e la cui presenza al festival aumenta la visibilità per l’ente che lo ha sostenuto.

Le città di Pianura di Francesco Sossai, primo film totalmente veneto presente al Festival di Cannes

Jacopo Chessa e la Veneto Film Commission sono a Cannes per sostenere il film “Le Città di Pianura” di Francesco Sossai, film emblematico della regione, che ha usato il territorio non soltanto come set naturale ma anche come storia e protagonista. E’ una opera prima, anche se formalmente c’era stato un altro film precedente dello stesso regista che non aveva mai avuto nessuna distribuzione.
