Fred meets Christoph Hochhausler, director of The Lies of the Victors which is in the Cinema D’oggi competition at the 9th edition of Rome International film Festival. The film is a modern political thriller and it is centered on the story of investigative journalists Fabian Groys who , while investigating on two stories ( and a potential toxic waste scandal) that seem to be connected, ends up realizing that all his work and all his discoveries might just be the results of the manipulating influence of off stage players and lobbyists. The Lies Of The Victors induces a reflection on the reliability of the sources of our information in the digital and super-controlled world we live in.
