PODCAST | Angelo Acerbi interviews Florent Gouelou, Pablo Pauly and Romain Eck, directors and actors of the film Three nights a week.
Florent Gouelou brings on screen, with Three times a week, a realistic love story between a straight guy and a drag queen, with taste, style and the right amount of lightness. We talked with him and the actors about this lack of melodrama and struggle that usually are present in such plots, and the contemporaneity of a generation that does not care about labels and social conventions.
Three nights a week: 29-years-old Baptiste is in a relationship with Samia when he first meets Cookie Kunty, a young drag queen from the Parisian scene who immediately mesmerises him. Initially motivated by the idea of a photography project revolving around Cookie, he immerses himself into this world, eventually embarking upon a relationship with Quentin, the young man behind the drag queen.
