PODCAST | Chiara Nicoletti interviews Chris Buck and Peter Del Vecho, director and producer of the film Frozen 2.
“As soon as you think you found your way, a new road opens up”. Co-director (with Jennifer Lee) Chris Buck and producer Peter Del Vecho of Frozen 2 comment on one of the new challenges Elsa and Anna have to face in the second chapter of this Walt Disney Animation success coming out in theatres on November 22nd and in Italy on 27th. Elsa and Anna are adults now and they feel the responsibility of their people, of Arendelle’s destiny. Is there a burden and such a responsibility in directing/producing a film like Frozen 2 that directly talks to children already in love with Anna, Elsa and Olaf ? Chris Buck and Peter Del Vecho also comment on the possibility for a spin-off since the post credits scene will leave the audience with some hope.
Frozen 2: Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In Frozen, Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In Frozen 2, she must hope they are enough. From the Academy Award-winning team—directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, producer Peter Del Vecho and songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez—and featuring the voices of Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Frozen 2 opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2019.
