Stephen Daldry meets Chiara Nicoletti on the occasion of the European premiere of TRASH at the 9th edition of Rome International Film Festival and Alice nella città 2014. The film, based on a book by Andy Mulligan follows the story of three teenagers Rafael, Gardo and Rat who find a wallet while sorting out litter in the hope of finding useful waste. The wallet contains important information that could lead to grave consequences for a corrupt politician and his corrupt police force who starts to chase the boys to get the wallet and its content.   The movie stars the great brand new brazilian actors Rickson Tevez, Luis Eduardo and Gabriel Weinstein and sees the participation of Martin Sheen and Rooney Mara.
