FRED’s Chiara Nicoletti interviews Kevin Meul and Aäron Roggeman, director and actor of My First Highway, in competition at the 14th edition of Alice nella Città. While it is impossible to talk about the film without spoiling its strong turning points, the director and his young actor manage to talk about their experience on set, their own adolescence and what it meant for them to work on a coming of age story.

MY FIRST HIGHWAY. During the annual holiday with his parents at a campsite in Spain, Benjamin (16) falls in love with a local girl. She is beautiful and intriguing and drags him along on an adventure that takes a dangerous turn. This will be a summer he will never forget for the rest of his life.
