A conversation with Hugo Rosak, head of the film industry office of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. This year’s KVIFF has been postponed to 2021, in response to the current global pandemic. However, Rosak joins us to talk about the KVIFF Eastern Promises industry section, which is aimed at film professionals and has been confirmed for July 6-8. In this interview, he talks about how they have worked to adjust to the decision of moving the section online as well as the novel introduction of FirstCut+ within it.
